Salary increment letters are written by employees to their employers to ask for a hike in their pay. How to write Salary Increment Letter?

While writing a salary increment letter, it is important to place the request in a humble fashion, if the employee is writing to the employer. The request should also be backed by strong reasons and these reasons should be specified clearly. 
If the employer is communicating to the employee about an increase in the salary, the increased amount and the formalities that the employee is expected to complete have to be mentioned clearly.

How to write a Salary Increase Email?

While writing Email requesting for an increase in salary, it is necessary to title the Email properly. The request has to be placed in a polite fashion and should be backed by strong reasons, which are also required to be mentioned in the Email.
If an employer is telling the employee that his/her salary has been increased via Email, the increased percentage or amount has to be mentioned and the additional responsibilities that come with drawing the increased salary should be mentioned. Necessary documents may also be attached.
